Matthew

Matthew, an energetic toddler, enjoys running, climbing, reading and exploring new places with his dogs, cousins, and friends. He’s kind, empathetic and when in a new environment he’s shy, silently observing. After he assesses the situation he warms up quickly. At 18 months old we bought a swing set that was 7ft tall, we were told he’d grow with it. The day it was set up he figured out how to climb the rock wall.

When he plays by himself he’ll include the dogs in the play by chatting with them and bringing them toys.

He has a few cousins that are babies and is really interested in them, and very gentle. If the baby cries he rushes over to one of his parents to say the baby is sad. He’ll help by giving the baby a toy. If he hears a baby crying in public , he’ll tell us the baby is sad they need their mommy and daddy.

Matthew can help your child navigate Colby puppy kisses. First, close your eyes and mouth, stick out both hands and start to walk backwards slowly until you hit a wall, couch or adult legs. Now that you won’t be pushed over by an excited puppy you can enjoy the aggressive puppy kisses and tail waggles.

Our old lady is gentle and calm with kids. She gently sniffs/ licks Matthew and lays down for pets.

He loves Matthew and kids. At Matthew’s 2nd birthday party all his older cousins were playing touch football. There was an uneven number so he was on a team. Turns out he was great at catching and running with the football, his team won. Colby wants to be near Matthew, weather that’s cuddles or playing. Colby would LOVE another kid in the family.
