We chose our home—40 minutes outside of Minneapolis—specifically for the space it provides to roam and play and it’s closeness between both Ross and Kim’s family.

With plenty of acreage to explore, our days are spent outdoors. Whether it’s the dogs chasing after Matthew or paddling on the river, there is always an adventure waiting just outside the back door.

We recently completed a prescribed burn on five acres to restore the land, planting native wildflowers and grasses. Ross spent our first spring planting hundreds of trees and a fruit orchard—trees that we hope your child will one day climb and pick fruit from.

Our home is a work in progress, our next big dream is building a natural swimming pool, a place for summer splashes and cooling off after a day of exploring. We can already see a little one joined at the hip with Matthew, running through the tall grass and growing up with the trees we’ve planted.
